The client has an ambition to be Net Zero by 2040, with interim targets set to achieve this. One of the projects identified as having a major impact on UK emissions was to swap out traditional diesel for an alternative low-carbon fuel. Goal7 were engaged to support the client in the development and execution of this project.

The client has an ambition to be Net Zero by 2040, with interim targets set to achieve this. One of the projects identified as having a major impact on UK emissions was to swap out traditional diesel for an alternative low-carbon fuel. Goal7 were engaged to support the client in the development and execution of this project.
Our Approach:
Goal7 worked with a leading global logistics and materials management services provider to transition its fleet from fossil derived diesel to renewable diesel hydrotreated vegetable oil (HVO) fuel. The Goal7 team worked collaboratively with the client through knowledge sharing of alternative fuels, sourcing of fuel, and quantifying emissions reductions for the project.
Benefit and Impact: Significant carbon emissions savings were achieved, equating to 46% of the client's scope 1 emissions in the UK.
